The Retreat

came here for the first time, after looking for somewhere to have a roast for mother's day. we had booked a table beforehand. we were seated quickly upon arrival. service was lovely and a jug of water for the table was offered. food came quickly after ordering. food was delicious. we ordered the sides of pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese and stuffing balls-generous servings for 4 people to share. will definitely be returning. only downside is that it is a small carpark

I wanted to extend my thanks to Emma, Louise and the wider team at The Retreat for taking such good care of us. We requested a small area to have a quiet celebration and requested a small buffet. The team made everything easy for us to arrange and I have to say, the buffet that was laid on was perfect for our Group. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty and the hot nibbles were hot. The atmosphere was lovely. Our Mum would have enjoyed it. Thank you!

First time visit, Atmosphere was lovely and warming, did expect a bit more of a Christmassy vibe - like music , crackers on tables etc Staff and service was brilliant, made sure we were ok, no wait time , very kind and polite The food was amazing, the Duck leg and the pork belly roast were yummy - lots of food - I think it’s the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon

Great local. Pretty decor. Great friendly staff, ample parking, food is as you would expect. Dining room quiet. I think maybe a touch over priced for what is basically a pub. Would be more of a regular if the menu prices were better.

You know you have had a great stay in a hotel when you give a good tip for the service and welcome you receive, and the Flower Pot was no exception. All our thanks to Colin, Libby, Jen and the rest of the amazing Flowerpot team for making us all so welcome, we hope we see you again soon x
