Proudly situated in the heart of the Lexicon Centre, our pub is a premium family and dog-friendly pub with beautiful Private Dining spaces. Our General Manager Stuart and wonderful team provide friendly service throughout the week.
Our Head Chef Ian prides himself on delivering best of British seasonal dishes, all complimented by a bar boasting the best wines, beers and cocktails. We are famous for our traditional roast dinners, bursting with all your favourite trimmings and topped with a homemade Yorkshire pudding.
As winter rolls around, our menus transform to warm, delicious dishes with seasonal ingredients including flaky-pastry pies, our classic sausage and mash and our staple pub classics.
Our Cowshed: a beautiful Private Dining Room is the perfect location for you to enjoy quality time with your nearest-and-dearest. Allow the team here at The Bull to plan and execute your event to every bit of your expectation.
Alice was lovely. She was Attentive and provided excellent customer service from the moment we arrived.
We had 2x full English breakfasts. Everything was perfectly cooked and what a quality Cumberland sausage!!
I highly recommend for food service and ambiance.
Beautiful pub!! Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food! ❤️
I highly recommend coming here for a cooked breakfast in the morning before hitting the shops!
Absolutely delicious! 👏 Thank you!
Terrible food, terrible quality – don’t waste your money.
Shocking drop in quality – from one of our favourites to one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had!
The food was horrible! Quality, portions, everything about the experience was disappointing – we’re never coming back.
Pancakes: flat, not fluffy like before. Whipped cream tasted like plain sugar, not fresh at all. Definitely not chef-made.
Crushed Avocado with Salmon: salmon tasted old, mustard was bitter and ruined the dish. No quality check whatsoever.
Summer Menu (2 course):
Whipped feta had terrible consistency.
Lime & chilli chicken came as plain grilled chicken, no flavour.
Salad greens weren’t even washed properly, feta was okay, but peaches tasted awful and poorly grilled. And just putting some greens and feta is not called Feta salad!!!!
From fresh and enjoyable in the past to inedible now. Zero quality control, zero care.
What used to be a place we recommended, is now a place we’ll warn people to avoid.
Food comes out a bit slow on busy days but largely a good solid place for lunch
Had the shared starter of pork products etc... the pork belly was the standout
Loved my visit to The Bull! Fantastic draft options and honestly one of the best Scotch eggs I’ve ever had. Great vibe and welcoming service too. Great service at the pub today—Ben went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
