3 weeks agoI absolutely love coming here. It's one of my favourite pubs in Berkshire. Staff are always so friendly and the food is fab. Tried the new tagliatelle today with chicken which was to die for and always love their seasonal menu changes too. Katie greets us with our regular drinks order when she sees us which makes the experience that much better. Keep it up, Bull!!!

2 weeks agoReally lovely atmosphere here. Went with my husband and son on a Sunday evening. I had the vegan roast which was delicious and very filling. Husband and son also enjoyed their food and found room for a pudding which they both enjoyed! Katie our server was so nice and friendly and made it a very enjoyable evening.

2 months agoBrilliant atmosphere, came in on a whim with my Dad after smelling a delicious scent from outside of the pub. The atmosphere brings you into this gorgeous welcoming country type setting. The atmosphere to me was the highlight. The servers were extremely nice, welcoming and very accommodating. The wait for the food didn't feel long at all, but you could tell the food was really fresh. I had the wings which were some of the nicest wings I've had in a while and to me were the highlight of my meal, my Dad had the sausage roll which he also absolutely loved. The mains were as amazing as the way the food was plated, definitely worth the price. The only thing, was with my haddock some of the chips were slightly undercooked. However, it was still a delicious meal. My Dad also had the onion rings with hos welsh six nations burger which he devoured the onion rings were also good. We would definitely come again!!

6 months agoWent to the bull with my wife and two daughters for Sunday lunch. We each only had a main. We were very politely greeted and taken to our seats, the seating was pretty full which is always a good sign - there was a good feeling around the room with plenty of chat and laughter. Drinks were ordered and served pretty quickly from our lovely waitress. My wife and eldest had the roast pork belly (pic attached), my youngest had the sausage and mash whilst I had the beef shin & ale pie. We also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese. The food was served in a reasonable time considering we were right in the middle of Sunday lunchtime. Each dish was presented impeccably, with a decent portion and good quality food. Each one of us cleared our plates which is always a great sign and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We would all go back to eat here and highly recommend the venue and food.
