5 months agoWe dropped by early on a Friday evening, without notice, having decided it would be better to stop and eat than to sit in traffic on the M4. Such an excellent decision. We were met by the owner, Abbs, who is charming, and has a warmth evident in the greetings of all the locals who approached him. The restaurant occupies a part of the local pub, and the atmosphere is lively and convivial. The food was yummy. We had a couple of chicken dishes, and some side dishes, and ate far too much. There was so much that we should really have taken a doggie bag, but we took our time and ate everything. I feel that the staff had to open both doors to let us out. Service was friendly and attentive, and it was nice to see the staff being treated so well, and smiling. I am so glad we stopped here for dinner. Very friendly, good food, lively homely atmosphere and good quantities. Wishing you much success and longevity. Thank you for a very good evening.

3 weeks agoTook my family here for a meal on a Friday evening, and couldn’t fault the food, service or anything about the experience. Excellent menu, with many regional specialty dishes, all curated by the owner. I had the fisherman’s curry, from Northern India, and it was excellent. One of my family wanted something that wasn’t on the menu for a main course, and this wasn’t a problem at all, and it was apparently one of the best versions of this dish they’d ever had. Will definitely be going back again.

a month agoAbsolutely fantastic place, our first time here and we were met with such a warm welcome. Our two young children really enjoyed their food and puddings - excellent quality and value for money - we will be back! Thank you for a fabulous Sunday buffet

3 weeks agoJust polished off the remaining Dum Biriani that I had last night, without a doubt the best I have tasted for a long time. Spicy and you could really taste the different flavours in the curry. Just amazing. Really lovely service from everyone, in particular it was lovely speaking with the owner who took time to speak with everyone. Well worth a visit.
