3 weeks agoLunch with friends at Historia Meze Grill in High Wycombe. We went on a Thursday afternoon (about 3pm) and the place was almost empty. We ordered the Baba Ghanoush and Cacik dips for starters. The complimentary house bread is great. For mains we ordered the large Adana Kofte and the grilled chicken wings. Both were excellent! Highly recommended.

a month agoCan’t fault this place! Historia serves some of the best Turkish food you’ll find this side of the Bosporus. I was recommended the Ali Nazik lamb shish and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and the decor is charming, if not a little kitsch. Will definitely be coming back!

4 months agoThe food was amazing and the virgin pina colada was my favourite! The staff were amazing, especially the owner Sibel, she made sure I had a great dining experience and the food came quickly! 10/10 will come again.

5 months agoAmazing and aromatic food, beautifully flavoured! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. The staff are attentive and efficient, and the food comes out very well presented. It was my birthday and our waiter suggested for me to try the ‘Katmer’ (pictured) and it was such a tasty dessert, I would eat it again (and again and again!) I would recommend Historia to anyone! 5/5 stars for me.
