The Chequers

First time takeaway order this evening and what a delight. Easy to order, lovely welcome on arrival and food ready to go. Food was absolutely delicious. Having been disappointed trying other recommendations for local Chinese food I am delighted to have found a really good restaurant where the food truly is amazing. I will certainly order a takeaway again and look forward to eating in at the restaurant. Well done team Chequers I will most definitely be back.

Absolutely worth a visit! Amazing Thai food in a gorgeous little pub. So so delicious, really fragrant, authentic Thai food, fresh and filling. Gorgeous little 16th century pub. As vegans we really appreciated the separate vegan menu with lots of tasty options! We found this place on a whim whilst travelling from Liverpool to Eastbourne and so grateful we did!

A long last a Chinese restaurant in Watlington, my first visit today was great the food was wonderful. however the main menu is different from the takeaway menu, but I was assured that this would be rectified in the very near future,some small teathing problems but he has only been open 3 days. I would highly recommend you to try this establishment.

We got a proper hand-pulled pint of Pedigree here plus some amazing Thai food. The Tom Kha soup hit the spot on a winter's eve. Tasty pineapple fried rice with red curry--all vegetarian. I'm so happy we stopped here on our way to the airport. Unfortunately, I heard this place is closing soon, but I hope not. There's lovely outdoor seating and a spacious interior in a quaint pub setting with some Thai Buddha decor.

Great find a few village's away from us. Authentic Thai food done really really well. Flavour profiles great, nice level of heat in the appropriate dishes. Service was fantastic too, he had us eating out the palm of his hand. Only slight let down is the dessert menu - no Thai desserts. Would like to see some Asian options. Still 5 star overall Can't wait to return :)
