A party of 9 celebrating a family birthday and to be honest felt a little disappointing over all.
Ordering app was down, wait at bar was long, approx 2 hours from order to get main food on table. Starters was great, mains would have been better if fresher, could tell some dishes had been under a heat lamp, but to be fair, mains for 9 people is challenging and it was a Saturday night. I have had far better experiences here previously so hopefully this was a one off.
A wonderful place with excellent, beautifully prepared food. The staff are gentle, polite, and genuinely attentive, making you feel welcome throughout the experience. Prices are fair and fully reflect the quality and care delivered.
The server was good and drinks were good but the kitchen looked like they did not know what they were doing it took 45 minutes for us to get our starter that was The Camembert at £23 and came with dry old bread and a hot honey dip that did not work with anything on the plate. We had a chicken burger that did not have any flavour and was bland and a beef burger that was over cooked and a dry bun making it a very over priced meal that did not live up to the £75 that it cost for 2 to eat here. Me and my wife will not be returning.
