in the last weekLondon Street Brasserie is a fantastic restaurant in Reading, offering a wonderful combination of excellent food, a beautiful riverside location, and a relaxing ambience. The seating is comfortable, and the menu has a great selection of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. Started with the Local Nettlebed Cheese Soufflé, served with asparagus tips, broad beans, breakfast radish, pea tendrils, and Witheridge cheese dressing. It was light, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, a perfect way to begin the meal. For the main course, chose the Pink Carved Lamb Rump with spinach gnocchi, green beans, asparagus, peas, mint oil, and jus. The lamb was cooked perfectly, tender and succulent, while the accompaniments complemented it beautifully, making it the highlight of the meal. Dessert was equally impressive. The White Chocolate & Passion Fruit Cheesecake, served with passion fruit coulis and passion fruit sorbet, was light, refreshing, and the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess to end the meal. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. With its excellent food, inviting atmosphere, picturesque location, and thoughtfully curated menu, London Street Brasserie is definitely one of the best dining spots in Reading. Highly recommended, and I'd gladly return on my next visit.
