in the last weekLovely place to eat. Great atmosphere and dining experience, great quality food cooked with love and care. Attentive friendly staff. The lamb starter was life changing and I will happily travel back there for that dish alone. Good wine list although wine was on the pricey side. Can’t wait to go back again.

a week agoWe went for the set menu today on a Monday evening at 6.30pm. I didn't catch the name of our waitress but she was exceptional and so smiley and friendly. The set menu is great value for money and was excellent. We also got a side salad, oysters and potatoes....potatoes were out of this world! We will back to try all the other things on the menu as there was so much choice and it all sounds delicious. Restaurant was beautiful too and well air conditioned!

a week agoPannacotta done badly presents as jelly-like or soupy. The Gosling Pannacotta was probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely superb pannacotta. The lobster crumpet was great too as a novelty (£18). Bear in mind it is a starter and it is a single crumpet. My medium-rare steak was mostly good but slightly overdone on one edge. Me + 2 children, no alcohol 2 desserts was £200. So not cheap particularly the steaks. We were in the garden area which opened up as the sun retreated. Very nice. Nice place to dress up for.
