in the last weekWe visited The Gosling for the first time on Friday to celebrate a birthday and we had the most enjoyable time. From the pleasant greeting at the door, to the restaurant atmosphere, to the brilliant waiter and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it.

a week agoStarted our evening with fabulous cocktails in a lovely, welcoming bar area. While our main courses of fish and roast chicken were good and the desserts were thoroughly enjoyable, the starters fell short. Specifically, the Thai beef salad was quite disappointing. It lacked any authentic Thai flavour, felt incredibly dry with no dressing or oil, and was topped with coated, bar-snack-style peanuts rather than traditional crushed ones.
