in the last weekWow. Where do I start. After visiting Nirvana Spa round the corner to The Poachers Gastropub (2 min drive), we fancied a change and something different. We love Indian food, but never had been to Poachers, so thought we would give it a go! Upon arrival, service was outstanding, clean and friendly. Which leads me to the quality of the food, we order a couple of dishes with rice each, naan and poppadoms. We did not leave any. We haven't had this quality of Indian food, since we visited Goa many years ago. It is so refreshing to know good Indian restaurants do still exist. We will definitely be returning as it's one place not to miss! Thank you.

in the last weekWhat a great find. We were stopping nearby and looking for somewhere for a meal for the 2 of us last weekend. We were able to book a table for 2, and must have been somewhat fortunate to do so judging by how busy the place was when we arrived, always a good sign. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were busy and attentive. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly look to return.

2 weeks agoAwful. Food was so-so. But service was like being in a foreign country with no attempt to speak English, not even an honest "sorry I don't understand". Asked several times for no gherkins, lots of nodding and "yes yes", but burger turns up with gherkins. Then blaring out extremely loud football. Asked them to turn it down. Again the usual "yes yes" and just didn't do it, couldn't hear ourselves think. Shocking. Never going back.
