I had a really disappointing experience at Quattro Italian Restaurant. We had a reservation but arrived a few minutes late due to an emergency. I apologised as soon as we got there, but instead of understanding, the man who appeared to be the owner or manager was extremely rude. He immediately told us the kitchen was closing soon and pressured us to order, raising his voice in a way that felt completely unnecessary and embarrassing, especially in front of other diners. At first, I genuinely thought he was joking, but it quickly became clear that he was being serious and quite hostile. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere for both me and my guest. We didn’t want to cause a scene, so we stayed and ordered a couple of dishes out of courtesy since we had made the reservation. On a positive note, the waitress who served us was polite and professional throughout, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was just average and didn’t make up for the experience. What stood out the most was how we were treated differently. The manager interacted warmly with other tables but completely ignored us, even when we were leaving. No greeting, no check-in, nothing. It felt isolating and, honestly, made me question whether this was down to poor attitude or something more concerning like discrimination. Overall, the service from management was unacceptable, and it overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t return or recommend this place based on how we were treated.
