3 weeks agoDisappointed. Was asked to pay £15 each to go in.. a local pub.... Limited menu... At least 10 people after us also walked off. I understand that they need to pivot business models but some decent signage to state £15 entry for local.....just to eat... Waste of time for local people. "Everyones local" on the website needs to be updated. Also nothing on their website for events to state you need to pay to get in.... Another idea maybe to split the venue..locals for food and meet up and and events section.... Just for future reference here is some legal advice to the management team.. Breach of Premises Licence: Most standard UK pub licences strictly prohibit charging an entry fee at the door unless they have specific authorization for "regulated entertainment" or a night club clause [1]. Doing so can lead to a £20,000 fine or up to six months in prison for the management under the Licensing Act 2003
