Fry rice in pineapple bowl where you could dig more pineapple! It tasted authentic to me, perhaps that’s the only restaurant I could find in Reading offering this dish.

I ordered the recommended fish, but it wasn't tasty and the service was terrible—she spilled the fish soup on me!!!

I visited recently with a reservation, and while the food were good, the seating experience was deeply unsettling. Despite having a reservation and seeing several open, ready tables on the beautifully decorated ground floor, we were told we had to wait 5 minutes for a table to be "set up" for us upstairs next to the kitchen. It seems to me that they were bypasssing perfectly good tables downstairs to tuck us away in the back as we are Asian. While I initially tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, I couldn't help but notice a troubling pattern. By the time we left, I realized that the vibrant, well-decorated ground floor was occupied almost exclusively by Caucasian diners. Meanwhile, every party seated in the cramped upstairs area near the kitchen was Asian or Black. It is 2026; feeling "hidden" in the back of a restaurant because of your ethnicity is unacceptable. Whether this is an intentional policy or an unconscious bias by the hosting staff, it ruined the evening. I hope the management takes a hard look at how they distribute their guests, as the current arrangement feels discriminatory. Not to mention we are paying the food with the same price and service charge. I won't be returning.
