Excellent food and service, plenty of parking with river views, try it.

we came in yesterday table of 6 after the england game an it was amazing, service top tier, food was spot on, and they treated us superbly. will defo be going back!!

Very disappointing experience at River Spice, Reading. We ordered Paneer Tikka, Veg Momo, Chicken Momo, King Prawn Butterfly and Chicken Nazakat, along with our main course. The starters were disappointing overall, and both the Veg Momo and Chicken Momo had to be returned because they were actually spring rolls, not momos. A menu should accurately describe what is being served. When we politely raised this, a member of staff insisted that spring rolls are called momos in Bangladesh and India. As someone from India, I respectfully explained that momos and spring rolls are completely different dishes, but our concern was dismissed. We then requested that our main course be cancelled. Although we weren't charged for the returned dishes, the most shocking part was being told to "get out" by a member of staff while we remained polite throughout the conversation. We left without finishing our food and still paid £48.15. Mistakes can happen, but treating customers with disrespect is unacceptable. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
