Founded in Reading in 2017 as a street food and catering business, after successfully building a following at local markets and events we went on to launch our first restaurant in Caversham in October 2019.
Our mission is to improve the world around us through spreading the joys of a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our focus is on making nourishing but indulgent food and the food we make is from scratch, never deep fried, and always 100% plant based meaning vegetables really are the stars of the show!
It goes without saying that our impact on the environment is always on our minds and we strive to minimise that impact as far as possible in every area of our business from using environmentally friendly energy suppliers to using recycled wood in our furniture down to the basics of ensuring all of our takeaway packaging is at least 100% compostable.
We are also passionate about keeping our supply chain as local as possible and are proud to list the likes of local coffee roasters, veg suppliers, bakers, craft breweries, wineries, and social enterprises amongst our growing list of wonderful suppliers.

in the last weekHad a very disappointing meal here. We booked in advance, arrived on time, but it was like they weren’t expecting us, no table set and the first thing they said was there’s a 35-minute wait for food… not a good start. The biggest problem was how slow the service was. Our main food, which was just a few ‘small plates’, took an hour to arrive! We also ordered the ‘while you wait’ olives, but they forgot to bring them. I had to remind them three times. Eventually they brought the olives, then five mins later they brought us some more, in error. Pretty shambolic overall. The décor is tired and dated. There was food all over the floor under the table next to where we sat, which nobody bothered cleaning up. The food was okay, fairly average and expensive for the portion sizes. We were using up a gift voucher and had been looking forward to eating here, but left disappointed. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. We really want to support plant-based venues, but our experience of this place was poor, so we won’t be hurrying back

a week agoDelicious coffee. The cake was a bit dry. The location is nice. I found their goods overpriced though
