Founded in Reading in 2017 as a street food and catering business, after successfully building a following at local markets and events we went on to launch our first restaurant in Caversham in October 2019.
Our mission is to improve the world around us through spreading the joys of a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our focus is on making nourishing but indulgent food and the food we make is from scratch, never deep fried, and always 100% plant based meaning vegetables really are the stars of the show!
It goes without saying that our impact on the environment is always on our minds and we strive to minimise that impact as far as possible in every area of our business from using environmentally friendly energy suppliers to using recycled wood in our furniture down to the basics of ensuring all of our takeaway packaging is at least 100% compostable.
We are also passionate about keeping our supply chain as local as possible and are proud to list the likes of local coffee roasters, veg suppliers, bakers, craft breweries, wineries, and social enterprises amongst our growing list of wonderful suppliers.

a week agoThe name added a curiosity to test and taste the Vegetarian dishes here. Dishes were tasty. Ambience was quiet good. I must say first time I have seen a mixed crowd, youngsters, families, elders and couples.. Cocktails and Cocktail options were tasty. Taste of starters and mains were different and added surprise with every bite. Service was exceptional... Must visit if you want a change from your regular list of eatouts

2 weeks agoWhat a lovely time we had at Vegivores. We sat outside on the patio and were well taken care of by Lauren who handled my dining partner’s allergen and special requests with aplomb. She enjoyed her quinoa salad and my satay sesame tofu burger was really tasty, texture coming from the red slaw, good pickles and some well-seasoned sautéed potatoes instead of fries. Literally freshly-squeezed orange juices were great. Not inexpensive but the service, ambience, quality and flavours made it a reasonable value. Really nice.

a week agomy favourite cafe ever i’m so lucky to have this locally. amazing amazing food for vegans and second hand vegan friends/family :) it is a little pricey but they don’t skimp out on quality or portion sizes!! all my non-vegan friends love it too❤️we love you vegivores!

a month agoI have been to vegivores a few times now, always taking friends who are visiting there. I absolutely love the food it is amazing and filling and I love that the options actually have plant based protein sources like tofu and beans. The staff are so lovely and friendly and their weekday deals are such good value. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!!!

4 months agoI am not vegan myself but my sister and brother in law are and they came to visit me and we went there. It is a very nice place, nice people working there, atmosphere was great. It was amazing that they could look at the menu and have plenty choices and not being changing ingredients like in a normal restaurant. The food was all amazing and we were very happy we went there!
