After 20 years of serving Twyford Village, our food has evolved from Pizza & Pasta to a wider cuisine on the request from our customers, serving Grill Meats, English Breakfast to Sunday Roast. On the 5th July 2018 we relaunched to an International Restaurant and added a Tapas, Mezze and more and Wine Bar where you can just come in and have a glass of wine or cocktail

2 weeks agoAnyone familiar with Twyford will be aware of the paucity of dining options. Dining pubs aside, we found three Asian restaurants and one European - La Fontana. Having recently focused on south Asian food - due to the Dashera festival - we ended up eating at La Fontana three nights out of four. The first two of these were not outstanding: steak, tuna steak, pizza, chicken salad, and a range of desserts were fine, but would have merited a rating of 3-4. It was only on our last night that we found out what the restaurant is really good at: pasta. We are meatballs and lasagne, and both were sublime examples of Italian home cooking at its best - hence the five star review. Portions were generous, sauces were sumptuous, and the pasta cooked to the moment. Lovely staff from start to finish, decent wines by the glass, and a convivial atmosphere all added to the enjoyment. In short, do go to La Fontana... but stick to the pasta dishes!

2 weeks agoFantastic food. Reasonably priced. Only place I can find that does food without masses of carbs and tastes superb. Salad is amazing and salmon with spinach is out of this world and so good for you. They also always give a doggy bag for little pooch who stares from car whilst waiting patiently for his treat. Well worth a visit.
