in the last weekVisited this little restaurant last night for the first time. Situated in a lovely old building the station end of the town, we had passed it previously and though how nice it looked. The restaurant has two floors with the upstairs being a mezzanine level. We were seated downstairs in a nice quiet corner. A good choice of Italian favourites on the menu and some tasty specials too. I chose the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli and my husband a chicken dish from the specials board. Both dishes, clearly freshly made, were very tasty indeed; my pasta dish was especially nice - a simple dish done well. The service we had was excellent throughout, most impressive. Dining out is as much about environment as food quality and service and this restaurant nails it as the spacing of the tables is perfect as is the lighting. A good choice for a romantic evening out! I am so pleased we visited and we certainly will again.

in the last weekExcellent place for Italian food, highly recommend. We had the carbonara, pizza with prosciutto and mushrooms and some delicious desserts. The raspberry cheesecake is to die for and the tiramisu was super fresh. Staff are super friendly, care about you. The atmosphere is casual yet romantic. We'll definitely be back.
