8 months agoLovely place with a good atmosphere and selection of ales and the usual drinks. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. A simple menu with good variety, well prepared and quick. The gents toilets were by far the nicest I've seen in any pub - clean, smelt fresh, all facilities functional, and nicely decorated. Yes - a well kept and decorated men's pub loo!! Unheard of!

5 years agoGreat pub in an unassuming village. We were on a walk and chanced upon this place. It looked very welcoming so we stepped in. The interior is very large with three areas for guests. The bar serves the usual branded lager and also some ale. The seating is very comfortable along the windows at the front. After a couple of drinks we decided to extend our stay and ordered a meal. Usual pub stuff served elegantly. And it was tasty. I'm sure I'll come again.

3 years agoIf you are looking for simple pub grub then it's your go to. Very relaxed informal service. Said the burger was homemade but didn't really taste it. Had a frozen, cheap taste. Nice atmosphere of locals.

5 years agoOur 1st visit was a really good experience! The pub is roomy, clean and a good atmosphere. The food we ordered was good pub food and I enjoyed it a lot!! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in.. a nice friendly and welcoming place to go and welcomed our 9 month old too!! Will definitely be returning soon!!
