The Angel on the Bridge is an iconic pub. Dating back to 1728, this grade II listed pub is one of the most photographed and painted pubs in England, because of its architecture and the amazing riverside location on the River Thames.
Inside it’s a quintessentially English pub with original beams and fireplace serving freshly cooked food. Outside on the terrace, it’s the perfect place to have a drink, a bite to eat and watch life go by on the river.
There’s a warm welcome waiting for you, no matter what time of year you visit, so pop in when you visit the beautiful Henley On Thames.

4 weeks agoA very quaint and charming pub in the heart of Henley. It offers a great range of drinks, and although I haven’t stopped for food - the menu looked great. During the winter they have roaring fires and a lovely cozy feel, and in the summer they have a fantastic outdoor terrace right by the river. You should definitely stop by if you’re looking for a nice pub!
