a week agoEssentially a gastro pub which is uncompromising about prioritising diners in the evening over drinkers. On weekday afternoons between the end of the afternoon and early evening food service, staff are fairly pleasant but come the evening they couldn't care less about drinkers when a table hasn't been booked for dining. Stools not even privided in the small (public?) bar area at front by bridge.

2 weeks agoSix of us went for lunch today and had an excellent time. Our server, Bella, got everything right and looked after us so well. We all had different dishes, and were all delighted. Well done chef! Thoroughly recommended. Also, dog friendly.

a month agoWent on a Sunday without a booking and managed to get a seat. Very friendly staff who welcomed us. It’s honestly got to be the best roast we have had. Large portions, amazing taste and great service! Look forward to coming back.
