2 weeks agoWonderful little pub. The best roast dinners ever served by friendly staff. New owners who have turned this gem around. Great value for money. Lots of events happening over the upcoming months. A definite go to place for women also as the landlady are truly lovely and friendly. Well recommended

3 weeks agoWent to see the open mic night, bit of a flop to be honest. The one at The New Inn the previous week was far superior. Ended the night with a very inebriated landlady shouting at a young couple, followed by her hurling a homophobic slur followed by the most vile c word, to the gentleman. Needless to say, I won't be visiting again due to the appauling behaviour, and language from the landlady.

a month agoOur first visit here since the new owners took over. We were made very welcome and enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch which was full of flavour, a generous size and reasonably priced too. The pub has an open fire, serves well kept Brakspear Gravity and is dog friendly…..we couldn’t have asked for more.
