a week agoBooked the bottomless brunch for a surprise birthday celebration. We had the private room booked which was perfect for us! We arrived a little earlier to decorate which was no bother for them! The preorders were really easy to do in advance and they catered very well for a guest with severe allergies. Guests all complimented the space and the music was great! Would definitely return.

3 weeks agoCelebrated a friend's birthday on Saturday with the bottomless brunch. Excellent service, wonderful food and drinks. Attentive waiting staff who were all polite and professional. Also they were happy to plate and serve the birthday cake we brought in. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. We will be back

2 months agoI went to calico and had an unbelievable experience, So many things to comment on the service was unbelievable, and the quality of the crew was out of this world. A sort of hidden gem in the Reading community that is an amazing place to come wine and dine, If you’re in the area definitely check out this place as the food is exceptional. The service is brilliant. I had five dishes on the menu and I was amazed by how superb the quality of the food was. My taste buds were watery in the succulent chicken that I was I was eating I had brought tears to my eyes. I would definitely be coming back here Again being so local to me, this is definitely the place to come to. When you’re here Please look out for Rahul - He is running an unbelievable establishment.

a month agoWe had a lovely dinner at the Calico restaurant - everything we ordered was amazing, a vibrant palete of taste and color. We tried the whole Holi Celebration Specials menu. The staff was extremely nice and the atmosphere very relaxing. We also spent the night at the 1843 hotel, situated on top of the restaurant, and were very happy about the room size and the hotel’s location. We spend the morning relaxing and reading in the library, which has an amazing history and a huge stock of books. It seems Charles Dickens used to come here! How amazing is that?! Overall we had a lovely experience and we will definitely return!

2 months agoCalico hosted a meal for 28 of us for a special birthday. They were so accommodating and flexible. Great customer service, ambiance and food. Very reasonably priced with delicious cocktails. Thanks for making the process so easy and being flexible when guests ordered more than was placed in the pre order. Seamless birthday celebration!
