Founded in Reading in 2017 as a street food and catering business, after successfully building a following at local markets and events we went on to launch our first restaurant in Caversham in October 2019.
Our mission is to improve the world around us through spreading the joys of a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our focus is on making nourishing but indulgent food and the food we make is from scratch, never deep fried, and always 100% plant based meaning vegetables really are the stars of the show!
It goes without saying that our impact on the environment is always on our minds and we strive to minimise that impact as far as possible in every area of our business from using environmentally friendly energy suppliers to using recycled wood in our furniture down to the basics of ensuring all of our takeaway packaging is at least 100% compostable.
We are also passionate about keeping our supply chain as local as possible and are proud to list the likes of local coffee roasters, veg suppliers, bakers, craft breweries, wineries, and social enterprises amongst our growing list of wonderful suppliers.

in the last weekHeartily recommend Vegivores for vegans and non-vegans alike, if you like nourishing, filling, and delicious meals at a reasonable price! Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Great selection of foods and drinks too, I look forward to coming back in future, but already can't decide whether I will try something else off the menu or just have the burrito again as it was so nice!

in the last weekReally lovely restaurant. I am not vegan or vegetarian but always enjoy the food here...very creative menu, bursting with flavour. You can see the pride Kevin and his team put into their work! Only downside is the service is always super slow every time I come here. Staff are friendly but I feel they could make more effort to keep their head up and looking around to see if customers need anything, rather then keeping themselves behind the counter.

in the last weekWe came for breakfast. Food was nicely prepared and very tasty. Interior decor is creative and relaxing. Breakfast menu could have more options, but we had a good breakfast and nice overall experience

a week agoFood is amazing. Their mac n cheese and the burger are my favourite, but they also have great cakes and cookies and coffee. Very happy for such a nice vegan spot in Reading.
