The ultimate dining experience
Discover Mexican
Mexican cuisine is a melting pot of different cultures which come together to form a unique blend of flavours and techniques. With the arrival of European, West Africans and Portuguese immigrants centuries ago, their ingredients and customs intertwined over the decades with those of the locals, creating what is known as Mexican cuisine: one of the fastest growing gastronomic movements today.

a week agoWhat a marvellous find! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening, warmth and uplifting decor as soon as you step in. Greeted by the most accommodating, cheery and friendly who kindly arranged a table for us to suit my needs. The food was exquisite and was enjoyed by all. Lots of exciting food on the menu and dietary requirements were met with like I’d ordered coke - no biggie Read the order back with spicy prawn tacos - dairy free, which was reassuring and beautifully handled. Children’s menu is a page on the main menu, really pleased with the options. My daughter had chicken, cheese and tomato quesadillas with no tomatoes. It looked really yummy and a very generous portion. Really loved our date night (gate crashed by child), we felt on holiday - a fabulously decorated restaurant with glorious sopranos and brilliant art. The restaurant filled up quickly as we ate. Reminder to book next time - we went in super early so were lucky.

a month agoWe were staying south of Didcot on a rare child free short break and looking around at our dinner options. We both very much love Mexican food so we're delighted to find a couple of options within a sensible distance, one being Dorindos, which was an easy choice after seeing the previous reviews and awards. Walking through Abingdon on a Thursday night at 8 most food places were empty but when we arrived at Dorindo's it was full and buzzing! We hadn't booked as we didn't know our arrival time so we're very lucky a table for 2 had just been vacated. (I recommend booking!) The food and drink options are broad and all very inviting and we chose the classic guacamole and a special for starter. Both delicious. For main we had chicken and chorizo skewers with sweet potato fries and pulled pork tacos. Also both excellent. Rounded off with churros for dessert. Service was superb, pricing is very sensible, food was excellent! We shall be going back and have been recommending it to all our friends.
